CDL Dinner & Dance 2025 – Netflix Playhouse Theme @ The Orchard Hotel

CDL hosted their highly anticipated annual Dinner & Dance at the elegant Orchard Hotel, and this year’s event was nothing short of spectacular. With a thrilling Netflix-themed costume party, the venue transformed into a red carpet extravaganza where fantasy met fun. The Flashpixs Team was on-site, fully geared up to capture every unforgettable moment with our signature Instant Photography service.

Guests and staff went all out, arriving dressed as some of the most iconic characters from hit Netflix shows — from the enigmatic robbers of Money Heist and the intense players of Squid Game to the chic fashionistas from Emily in Paris, and many more. The creativity and dedication were truly impressive, adding an extra spark to the evening.

At Flashpixs, we take instant memories seriously. Using cutting-edge wireless camera systems, we were able to seamlessly transfer photos in real time to our high-speed, top-tier printers stationed at the event. Within seconds of being photographed, guests walked away with beautiful, high-quality prints — no waiting, no hassle.

NLB Volunteers’ Appreciation Evening @ The Ah Meng Bistro

The National Library Board (NLB) Volunteers’ Appreciation Evening held at Ah Meng Bistro was a delightful celebration of the dedication and hard work of NLB volunteers. The cosy, welcoming atmosphere of the bistro was the perfect setting for this heartfelt gathering.

Volunteers, NLB staff, and guests enjoyed a delicious spread of food and drinks, while taking the opportunity to mingle and connect.

A special highlight of the evening was our Roving Instant Photography service, where guests had the chance to capture precious moments with friends and colleagues. With a snap of the camera, volunteers received a printed photo as a token of appreciation for their contribution to the library community.

The instant prints were a fun and meaningful keepsake, adding a personal touch to the event.

Throughout the evening, speeches and Fire Eating performances took place, expressing gratitude to the volunteers for their tireless efforts. Malvin’s 70th Birthday @ The Swissotel Stamford Ballroom

Malvin celebrated his 70th Birthday with style at the Swissotel Stamford Ballroom and The Flashpixs Team was there to provide our Live Photography services for this joyous occasion.

Photos that we took were immediately beamed to the 2 huge projectors in the ballroom in real-time and immediately printed out on credit card-sized prints for the guests to bring home.

Friends and family of Malvin could not stop taking photos and bringing home the prints after.

The party was wild too as everyone joined in the merry-making with loads of dancing and singing.

Do you do Photobooth for Malay Weddings?

Recently, we have been asked this question via email many times.

And the answer is Yes! Of course, we do.

In fact, we have been providing our Photobooth services for the Malay Wedding Community since 2011 and still continue to do so. We were also one of the partners for DJ KC & Fiza O’s wedding back in 2012.

Flashpixs Photobooth is a popular feature at Malay weddings in Singapore.

It is a fun and interactive way for guests to capture memories of the wedding day and take home an instant print memento of the occasion.

Our Photobooth is typically set up in a designated area of the wedding venue preferably indoors with air conditioning.

Couples can provide us with a decorative backdrop or we can also provide one. Guests can then take turns posing for photos in front of the backdrop, changing props such as hats, glasses, and signs, that guests can use to add some fun and personality to their photos (included in our package), and have tons of fun posing for the Photobooth machine.

We provide a high-speed printer whereby everyone in the photo will receive a copy of the instant prints that feature the couple’s names, wedding dates, or other personalized details.

Our Photobooth may be manned by 2 assistants who can help guests pose and take their photos as well as distribute the Instant Prints.

In addition to being a fun activity for guests, a Malay wedding photo booth can also provide the couple with a unique and personal memento of their wedding day. The photos taken at the booth can be compiled into a scrapbook or digital album that the couple can cherish for years to come.

RAS Epicurean Star Award 2022 @ The Fairmont Ballroom

The Flashpixs Team was back at the Fairmont Ballroom again, this time for the RAS Epicurean Star Award 2022.

We provided our Live Photography Services where the photos were immediately printed out as soon as they are taken via our wireless transmitters as mementos for the guests that graced the event.

Big names from the F&B industry as well as popular figures such as Sylvia Choo and Elim Chew were in attendance for the event. They took photos from our photographer and photos were immediately printed for them soon after.

MYMCA & MY World Present Out of the Screens Thanksgiving Dinner 2022

MYMCA & MY World celebrated their annual Thanksgiving Dinner 2022 at the Swissotel Stamford Singapore with a movie-themed party.

They came and dressed up as different movie characters and The Flashpixs Team was one of the many photographers there to photograph and provide our Instant Photography Services for their event.

Photos were immediately printed out on the spot as soon as they were taken and the guests enjoyed posing for us and bringing home the photos as mementos of the colorful night.
