Photographing French Rugby Legend & Fashion Icon Franck Mesnel

When Franck Mesnel, the legendary French Rugby Player and Fashion icon flew into Singapore to launch his clothing line, Eden Park Paris, we had the honour of photographing him.

Franck wanted to showcase some of his clothes to Singapore and he chose The Padang for this photoshoot. What a perfect location!

We brought out our Mobile Studio Photography lights, did a quick set-up while Franck put on his finishing touches to the clothes and make-up.

Although we were in awe, we managed to keep our cool and got away we some portraits for his launch. Below are some of the photos we shot.

Corporate (and fun) Portraits with the Palo IT Singapore Team

However, there was one catch. The staff had to do a serious pose as well as a fun one too!

We set up our Mobile Studio lighting systems with a white backdrop as requested at their office and began shooting away. It did not take long for the staff to loosen up and had some fun in front of our photographers with their poses.

Portraits with Jamie’s Italian Singapore Team

We had an amazing time photographing the Team from Jamie’s Italian at their Vivo City Outlet. We brought along our Mobile Studio Setup and away we went photographing the team in various poses.

Lighting was a bit tricky here with the sunlight coming through from the windows as well as the fluorescents from the ceiling. But we managed to keep it under control got away with some nice portraits of the team from the Head Chef to the Bartender.

Oudganics Agarwood & Lifestyle Products Photography

While we wait for Covid-19 to die down and continue with events, we have been lucky to be shooting from the studio (and sometimes at home 🙂 ) for an International Agarwood & Lifestyle company called Oudganics. They have been setting up their e-commerce website as well as on other platforms such as Lazada and we have been providing Product Photography for their items.

We set up our mobile studio lights and white backdrops to get a nice clean shot of the products. And we are very proud of the outcome of the images even though it was a simple set-up.

We were informed that sales are on the uptick after the photos went live.

In The Studio with Maryam Amelie – Singaporean Author & Designer

We were back in the studio, this time with Singaporean author & designer, Maryam Amelie to photograph her latest collection of shawls.

Her collection of shawls for the modern modest wear lady includes the Vanda Collection, paying tribute to the national flower of Singapore – the Vanda Miss Joaquim.

The Traditional Songket Collection, made for everyday wear, as well as for that special occasion.

The Parisienne Collection (above) is a snapshot of Maryam Amelie’s personal memories in Paris. She has carved subtle love messages in this Parisienne Collection, taken from a quote in her novella, The Truth Seekers @ Haji Lane.

The Maryam Amelie Sakura Collection is for ALL women and for all seasons. It makes great gifts to friends from Japan and anywhere in the world.

We spent hours in the studio to get the photos ready for her online shop, and the Maryam Amelie collection is available at Ungu Pen.

Instant Prints: Be a Life Saver. Support Organ Donation.

The Flashpixs Team were at NUHS over the weekend with our Mobile Studio setup and Instant Prints system for a Support Organ Donation event organised by NUCOT. Attendees who were mostly former organ donors posed for photos and received 5R copies of the prints.

Everyone enjoyed the mobile studio setup that they keep posing for our photogaphers.
